Code Enforcement Manager
(Oversees: Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Zoning Codes)
Annual salary range: $68,723 to $94,411

Historic flooding has brought the need for streamlining and improving Code Enforcement practices to its apex. Now a leader must immerge, bold enough to shape policy, empowered to reduce red tape and impassioned to serve our extraordinary citizens.
This is not a position for the faint of heart; we do not need a figure head. We need a proven leader ready to hit the ground running. This position reports directly to the City Manager.

Requirements for this position include:
§ Dynamic leadership skills with an eye for performance improvement and an ability to develop stakeholder buy in
§ Understanding of and ability to utilize applicable technology
§ Team building abilities that extend to integrating with other departments
§ Comprehensive knowledge of building and housing laws, codes and ordinances (and their administration)
§ A four year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Structural Engineering or other related field
§ Extensive experience in building/code enforcement program administration
